Brianna Scotti, PA-C, is a Board-Certified Physician’s Assistant serving patients in the Plainview and Commack, New York, offices of MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery. Ms. Scotti provides a variety of dermatology and cosmetic treatments to patients including acne treatment, cosmetic dermatology, KYBELLA®, Botox®, hyperhidrosis, fillers, laser hair removal, and treatment of skin conditions like eczema and rosacea. With each patient encounter, it’s her goal to leave the patient healthier and happier than they were when they arrived.
Ms. Scotti began her journey toward a career in medicine by earning her undergraduate degree in public health from Stony Brook University in New York. Her high achievements in the program made her a strong candidate for the physician assistant graduate program at Stony Brook Medicine, which she completed in May 2016. After finishing her graduate degree, the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) granted her certification in June 2016.
During her graduate program, Ms. Scotti completed clerkships in psychology, orthopedics, internal medicine, pediatrics, plastic surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, geriatrics, surgery, and emergency medicine. In March 2015, she had the honor of participating in a Haiti medical mission, where she operated a medical clinic and provided medical care to the underprivileged alongside a multidisciplinary team of students, physician assistants, doctors, and dentists. The experienced shaped the compassionate and selfless provider she has become today.
Ms. Scotti is both ACLS and BCLS certified, and she stays on top of new research and technology through memberships in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Ms. Scotti’s passion for dermatology and cosmetic surgery are rooted in her understanding of the relationship between self-confidence and overall health, wellness, and quality of life. She focuses her care on a patient-centered model, aiming to give each patient her rapt attention while she’s with them and working to understand their motivation, treatment goals, and concerns. She believes that patient education is a critical aspect of quality patient care, which includes being available to answer patient questions from consultation through treatment day.
Ms. Scotti has dedicated her career to helping people create the very best versions of themselves and is now accepting new patients. Call today to schedule a consultation with Brianna Scotti.
