Beena Mahtani, DNP, FNP

Beena Mahtani, DNP, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner at MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in Clifton and Englewood, New Jersey. 

Beena earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and minor in psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in 2012. Two years later, she returned to the university for her doctorate in nursing practice and graduated in 2017 with high honors. During her doctoral program, she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. 

For over six years, Beena has been working in dermatology. She received specialized training at the prestigious Princeton University, and she is certified in basic cardiac life support (BCLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS). Beena also keeps current with the latest advances in the field of dermatology by attending national conferences and strives to help her patients achieve the best health and wellness possible.  

At MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, Beena provides individualized care for a variety of dermatological conditions, including eczema, acne, psoriasis, warts and moles, skin cancer, skin tags, and other nail and hair conditions. She holds certifications in Botox, dermal fillers, and laser treatment. 

In addition to helping patients, Beena has an appreciation for personal fitness, travel, music, and dancing.
