About Christos Zouzias, M.D., MBA

Christos Dimitris Zouzias, MD, MBA, specializes in medical and procedural dermatology at MDCS: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery with offices in the Midtown East and Upper East Side neighborhoods of New York City, as well as Smithtown, Commack, Hampton Bays, and Plainview, New York, and Clifton, Marlboro, and Englewood, New Jersey. 

Dr. Zouzias takes a personalized and patient-centered approach to care, ensuring his patients get the best outcomes.

Dr. Zouzias earned his Bachelor of Art and Doctor of Medicine at New York University (NYU) in New York City. Prior to medical school, Dr. Zouzias spent a year completing a student research fellowship in supportive onco-dermatology, studying the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy on the skin. He worked under the mentorship of Beth McLellan, MD, the current chief of dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.

Following medical school, Dr. Zouzias earned a Master of Business Administration at NYU’s Stern School of Business. Then, he went on to complete his medical internship at North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Manhasset, New York.

Dr. Zouzias continued his training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, completing his dermatology residency program. During his residency, Dr. Zouzias was awarded Outstanding House Officer for his compassion, expert clinical skills, and professional rapport.

In his free time, Dr. Zouzias enjoys cooking and spending time with his nieces and nephews. 

Notes: Christos Zouzias, M.D. received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from New York University. Prior to graduating from medical school at NYU, Dr. Zouzias took a year off to complete a student research fellowship in supportive onco-dermatology studying the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation under the mentorship of Dr. Beth McLellan, the current chief of dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center. At the same time, Dr. Zouzias also obtained his Master of Business Administration at NYU’s Stern School of Business. Upon graduation, he went on to do an internship at the Hofstra Northwell Internal Medicine Residency Program at North Shore/LIJ hospital for one year before heading to the Bronx to complete three years of dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Zouzias specializes in both medical and procedural dermatology and prides himself on taking a personal, patient-centered, and multidisciplinary approach to deliver optimal treatment and ensure patient satisfaction. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
