Dr. Gregory Phillips is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatopathologist offering expert care for a full range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. He currently practices at MDCS Dermatology in Manhattan, with appointments available in both Midtown and the Upper East Side.
Dr. Phillips provides compassionate, personalized treatment for acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, warts, skin infections, and allergic skin reactions. He has extensive experience in skin cancer screenings and specializes in the early detection and management of melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma. His diagnostic expertise is enhanced by advanced training in dermatopathology, allowing him to interpret complex skin biopsies for more accurate diagnoses.
With over 25 peer-reviewed publications and national speaking engagements, Dr. Phillips is a recognized leader in oncodermatology, immune-related skin conditions, and rare dermatologic diseases. He completed his dermatology residency at Oregon Health & Science University, where he served as Chief Resident, and is currently completing his dermatopathology fellowship at the renowned Ackerman Academy and SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
Dr. Phillips is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish. He is dedicated to providing inclusive, evidence-based dermatologic care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
