Dr. Rasna Neelam is a board-certified dermatologist with a unique background in both clinical medicine and health communication. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she served as Academic Chief Resident and gained comprehensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Neelam treats patients of all ages and is experienced in managing a broad spectrum of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. She performs procedures such as skin cancer excisions and offers aesthetic treatments including Botox, Dysport, and dermal fillers.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Neelam holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University. She has authored numerous articles on dermatology, mental health, and public health for platforms such as The Dermatologist, HealthDay, LearnSkin, and Charlie Health, with a focus on making complex health information accessible and engaging.
Dr. Neelam is particularly interested in integrative approaches to skin care and values patient education as a cornerstone of effective dermatologic treatment. Outside of work, she enjoys running, creating art, and producing multimedia content centered on wellness and storytelling.
